Many of us spend years perfecting our craft and then find we have no idea how to make money using those skills. Most business conferences and books are not geared toward our type of companies. The information we are able to get is in bits and pieces creating a struggle for all of us who want to be both successful and creative.
I created The Business of Creativity Retreats to remedy this situation. All the topics have been carefully chosen to reflect what you, a creative business owner, really need to know to be truly successful. Now I am going to read your mind for just a minute. If you have read this far, the conference sounds great but you are probably thinking one of two things:
I can't afford to spend another dime on this business
until I make some money.
It feels that way right now. But, it doesn't have to.
I was in the same situation just a few years ago and was ready to give up. I had read all the books, been to all the lectures, listened to everyone and I was still sinking.
So, I am not going to throw "you have to spend money to make money" at you. Mainly because the goal of this retreat is to help you learn skills and techniques that will help you make more money while spending less.
What I am going to say, is something my little sister once told me... "Go Big or Go Home".
If this is your passion, then make this investment in your success so you can finally stop struggling. It won't happen overnight but if you believe in yourself and use the skills and techniques you will learn, it will happen.
I have been doing this for years and
things are working just fine.
First of all, congratulations! That is great.
Now, stop and think about how hard you have to work for each lead, how much money and time do you spend on jobs that never actually pan out, and how many hours a day do you work?
The skills and techniques in this retreat can help you make more money with less effort.
You will still have to work, this isn't a get rich quick scheme, but you can work smarter and spend your time on projects that will actually make you money not chasing down ghost leads, spending time and money on marketing that doesn't really work, or getting in your own way.
